This Privacy Policy explains how ShoMeJapan (operated by Sho Igarashi, "I," "me," or "my") handles personal information collected through this website (shomejapan.com).
Only what you choose to send me through the contact form:

The website also automatically collects standard access information (IP address, browser type, referring page) like any other website.
Solely to reply to your inquiry and plan the experience you're asking about. I don't add you to a mailing list, I don't send marketing follow-ups, and I don't sell or share your information with anyone.
To run this site I use a small number of third-party services. Your information may be processed on their servers:
Netlify, Inc. (United States) — website hosting and form delivery.
Google LLC (United States) — email (Google Workspace), site analytics.
These providers have their own privacy policies and standard data-protection measures. Beyond these, I do not share your information with any third party except where required by law.
Because the providers above are based in the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. The U.S. does not have a privacy law equivalent to Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI), but the providers I use publish their security and data-protection terms publicly.
I keep your contact details as long as needed to respond and follow up about your trip. If you'd like me to delete your data, just email me and I will.
You can ask me at any time to: see what data I have about you, correct it, or delete it. I'll respond within a reasonable time.
The site does not use tracking cookies. Standard analytics may use anonymous cookies to count visits — no personal identification.
